Identify before replacing
System type, media, dimensions, seals and application must be verified. Visual similarity alone cannot confirm compatibility.
- Photos of the existing system and filter
- Machine and installation identification
- Operating conditions and target contaminants
Inspect the complete system
Check seals, mounts and ducts. Watch alarms and pressure changes. Clean the cab using a suitable method that avoids returning settled dust to the air.
Match the maintenance interval
Replacement depends on manufacturer instructions, filter loading and operating conditions. One interval cannot suit every application.
Gas-treatment media need specific follow-up
An adsorbent can lose treatment capacity before visible blockage occurs. Follow-up should consider the contaminant, operating time and exposure conditions.
